A Fashion Consultant, Queens native, and Bedstuy resident, find out what it means for her to raise her child in Bedstuy despite all of the changes. Seems she has high hopes for the community.

A Bedstuy Native and daughter of Herbert Von King, Andrea speaks about her fathers legacy in the community which inspired a neighborhood park to be named in his honor.


Meet Junade

He goes by the moniker, IamPopula, a Brooklyn native and local musician. After moving to the south for college, Junade speaks about returning home only to not recognize the neighborhood(s) for which he grew up. Regardless, he is optimistic and continues to make art inspired by his community.


Meet Annette

Annette Marie Robinson is a Bedstuy native, our local Assemblywoman and has lived in the neighborhood for over 70 years. She gives us a bit of a history lesson, while giving us a walk down memory-lane.
